I have chronic insomnia. For years the only way I could sleep at night was to eat a snack right at bedtime and make sure I ate a full dinner before that. (Im diabetic). I gained a lot of weight that way. My doctor gave me sleep medication. But the allowed amount was too little to work. Finally I tried this app. It worked like a charm. I set it at 2.5 hertz. And I was off to sleep.
I still take an over the counter sleep aid to help out. And Im not totally satisfied that I am using it to the best advantage. Right now Im leaving it at 2.5 hertz all night, which is not optimal. It would be better to have it mimic a natural sleep pattern. But even with his crude usage it works wonders.
FYI. I had a problem with my iPhone pulling off the table and onto the flour as I moved in my sleep. I solved that problem by putting my phone inside the pillow case at night.
